Kellie martin is an American actress in television, film as well as stage actor. Her most notable roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) in the period drama Christy"; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Additionally, she's well-known as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin was the daughter of a department-store buyer and kindergarten teacher, started her career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids assisted Martin land a role in 1981's series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more than just a hobby. Her roles were significant on TV as well as on the big screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is a skilled photographer, as well as a dancer.
